<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Pastor Elie Hamuli</strong></p>

<p>Diving deeper into our series on &#8220;Being Out and About for Jesus Christ,&#8221; let&#8217;s explore the journey of arising in our calling. Last week, we discussed how God has set you apart and covered you with His righteousness, empowering you for the noble calling before you. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4513 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/89-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Your disciplined life showcases God&#8217;s grace in holiness. Arising in your calling has various aspects that should ignite your enthusiasm. Firstly, you are called to make Jesus known to the world. </p>
</div></div>

<p>Like Moses who led the Israelites, Jonah who preached repentance, and Daniel who displayed godly wisdom as a government official, you are an heir of this glorious calling to share the Gospel by sharing your testimony. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4514 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/90-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Looking at Daniel 1:4-20, it becomes clear that taking care of your body and enriching your mind with knowledge relevant to your calling is crucial. How you present yourself and your intellect plays important roles in interactions.</p>
</div></div>

<p>As a vessel of God, even if you fall short, God provides His grace and supernatural gifts to complement your abilities. He equips you beyond your capabilities, as shown in Daniel 1:20. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4515 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/91-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Challenges are common, especially at the beginning of your calling, like Daniel faced. Consider the ways you might stumble and remember that God, who loves you, provides a way out when you endure temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13). </p>
</div></div>

<p>In your divine calling, God positions people who will show you favor as you step into new places. Even in the face of resistance, God can turn hearts in your favor when you seek refuge in prayer (Daniel 2:26-28). </p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">Lastly, remember not to take credit for your achievements. Give glory to God, and in situations where you&#8217;re tempted to seek glory for yourself, point people back to God. </p>
</div></div>

<p>Your light has an impact when you give glory to Him. Be kingdom-minded, ensuring that your success benefits those around you, just as Daniel demonstrated in his calling.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size">Pastor Elie Hamuli</p>

<p>Understanding the nuances of God&#8217;s calling and its impact on our lives is an enlightening journey that empowers us to embrace our calling. While we each possess unique attributes and flaws, God&#8217;s call is intentional, and tailored to our distinct qualities. God&#8217;s knowledge of those He calls demonstrates His approval of the unique assignment He has prepared. This is crucial for bearing witness to Christ&#8217;s presence, allowing our light to shine, and guiding others to Him. The stories of Jonah and Job provide profound insights into what it means to embrace our divine calling.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4506 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/79-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In the opening verse of the book of Jonah, we find a precise description of who he is. This underscores that God&#8217;s callings are never arbitrary; He knows precisely whom He calls. God, in His infinite wisdom, considers every strength and weakness when making His selection. Just as God&#8217;s meticulous design is evident in creation and humanity, He&#8217;s also aware of every detail in the assignment He has entrusted to you. This knowledge carries significant implications.</p>
</div></div>

<p>Firstly, being known by God is a testament to His approval of you as His chosen instrument. He will not select someone He does not know. In fact, God knows you better than you know yourself, and if He has chosen you, it&#8217;s because He has wholeheartedly approved of you (as seen in the story of Moses in Exodus 3 &amp; 4). Secondly, this knowledge enables Him to appoint you for a specific task, making use of your weaknesses for a divine purpose. Therefore, do not underestimate yourself or doubt your ability to fulfill what God has called you to do. He&#8217;s considered every aspect of your being, knowing that even your weaknesses will serve a purpose in your assignment (see Jeremiah 1:4-5).</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4507 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/80-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In verse 2, the word &#8220;arise&#8221; holds particular significance. In this context, &#8220;arise&#8221; means to stand up, embrace, and walk in the gifts and calling that God has bestowed upon us. Ephesians 5:14 emphasizes that there is light for those who arise in their calling. Moreover, Matthew 5:16 states that your good works are only visible when your light shines. It&#8217;s crucial that Christ&#8217;s light radiates through your actions. Job&#8217;s introduction in Job 1:1 and 8 highlights that his light preceded any mention of his possessions or abilities. This light is the fear of God; thus, your primary attribute should be the fear of God.</p>
</div></div>

<p>Furthermore, your light should shine brightest outside the church, where darkness is most prevalent. This not only glorifies God in your success but also ensures that people see Christ rather than yourself. Consider Joseph&#8217;s story, where the Lord&#8217;s presence with him led to his success (as seen in Genesis 39:3). This can only happen when people know you walk in the fear of God, intensifying the brilliance of your light.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4508 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/81-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">The fear of God is intimately linked with holiness. Holiness doesn&#8217;t imply the absence of sin but rather being set apart from the common. The challenge isn&#8217;t being in the world but being of the world, blending in with others (as mentioned in John 17:14-15). You can only make a meaningful impact when the difference is unmistakable. This must be evident outside the confines of the church, as people will follow your example when they perceive this difference.</p>
</div></div>

<p>Sanctification, the process of being made holy, equips you for a special role in God&#8217;s plan. God uses individuals who stand their ground and find their foundation in Him. It&#8217;s essential to differentiate between righteousness and holiness. Righteousness is a fixed position, while holiness is progressive. It&#8217;s something you grow into, demanding discipline. However, remember that discipline isn&#8217;t a legalistic constraint but a guiding principle that leads you toward the goal of holiness. Strive for a harmonious balance in your pursuit of holiness.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4509 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/82-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In conclusion, making a genuine impact in the world necessitates being set apart to draw others to Christ. You must rise in your calling by revering God and embracing holiness. Extremes can hinder your calling, as Satan is an extremist, whereas God embodies balance. Disruption of this balance leads to disharmony. Satan may push you to extremes. On one hand, you might become overly &#8220;religious,&#8221; making it hard to connect with people you want to help find salvation. On the other hand, you could swing too far in a &#8220;carnal&#8221; direction, unintentionally getting in the way of others. Striking a balance between holiness and being relatable is essential.<br></p>
</div></div>

<p>Consider Peter&#8217;s story (you can find it in John 14:1-10). Initially, he was too humble to let Jesus wash his feet. Then, he went to the other extreme, asking for a full-body wash. Jesus explained that foot-washing was enough because he was already clean. This story highlights the importance of finding a balance. So, aim for that harmonious equilibrium as you pursue a holy life.<br>As you heed His call, remember that He knows you intimately and has equipped you for a purpose that transcends your individuality, enabling you to shine your light even brighter in an increasingly dark world.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Minister Meschack Mulenda</strong></p>

<p>The notion of &#8220;provision&#8221; is central to the Kingdom of God. When it comes to God’s provision, it is not about what we do but about where we stand. Our right standing in God guarantees His provision more than our skills or hard work can achieve. In other words, our position in God’s Will comes before our efforts when it comes to our provision in the Kingdom of God.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">When we align ourselves with God’s perfect Will for us in a season, we position ourselves to receive His provision. With that said, there is no provision without alignment in our position. A lack of position will manifest as a rush to pursue many avenues in order to find provision in many pursuits, which is hardly what God wants for us. However, when we stay in a God-inspired position that meets the requirements of our needs, we benefit from a clear direction that adjusts our posture.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>The story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 illustrates well that staying in the sonship of God is all we need to be provided for. Likewise, we operate in our position of children of God knowing our needs are already catered for. As we fall short of God’s instructions by ourselves, Jesus Christ has clothed us in His righteousness so that we are positioned to receive provision in God (2 Corinthians 5: 21). </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4494 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/71-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Our only task as sons and daughters is to seek first and foremost the Kingdom of God, and everything else will be provided for (Matthew 6:33).</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">It is counterproductive to seek provision while being out of position (see James 4:3). That is why a person out of position will always be out of God&#8217;s provision as it is withheld. To elicit our position as sons and daughters, we must abide in God&#8217;s Word and let it abide in us as well, so that our desires align with His Will (see Psalms 37: 4).</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Following are the six keys that position us for provision in God. Our relationship with God is the first key. It flows from Jesus Christ&#8217;s Redemption, which allows us to have a relationship with God (see John 3:16 and Ephesians 1:5). We learn from John 6:8-11 and Matthew 6:9 that we receive provision when we sit and rest in God. The bread God provides inevitably follows when His Will and Kingdom are established in our lives. It is pointless to go out of position to toil for &#8220;bread&#8221; that will perish when the Father gives imperishable bread to those who are positioned.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4495 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/72-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Since God uses people to provide for His children, our relationship with people is also important. God works in such a way that He uses man in order to help us get to our destiny and to help us carry our burdens along the way. For this, He has graced our journeys with two types of relationships: destiny helpers and burden bearers, the people who stand by us in difficulties. The story of Christ demonstrates that even He had burden bearers in the likes of Mary Magdelein and John (Matthew 3:13; John 19:25).</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Meekness is the second key. This is a combination of humility and teachability. A person who is meek is always in the position to receive from God (see Matthew 5:5). Hence, God resists the proud and exalts the humble (see James 4:6-10). Beyond curing us from worldliness, humility makes it possible for us to submit to God. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4496 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/73-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">It also creates in us a teachable spirit that allows us to listen to God&#8217;s commands regarding how to live. Lest the earth and everything in it close up to us, cutting off provision (read Leviticus 18:26-28).</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">Brokenness, the third key, is an attitude of always needing God no matter where one stands. It is the attitude that enables us to never grow independent of God no matter how high we rise. Psalms 51:17 illustrates how brokenness is a posture to be positioned in.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Competence is the fourth key. In order of priority, we need to seek the Kingdom, but when dealing with the world, we need to be competent in what we may offer the world in order to cause change. Therefore, competence is to be pursued (see Ecclesiastes 10:10). The Holy Spirit is an advantage over our competence. Hence, the most effective way to serve is to serve the world with the gifts God has given us.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4497 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/74-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Tithing represents the fifth key. In Malachi 3:8, the number &#8220;ten&#8221; means &#8220;all&#8221;. Thus, when we give 10% of our tithe, we are actually giving God our all. Additionally, when we don&#8217;t tithe, we are not just robbing God but ourselves too (read Malachi 3:8-10 and 1 Corinthians 6:19). Money has power, but when the tenth is offered to God in our tithes, He gives us authority over the rest.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Lastly, we stay in a position for provision through gratitude. This does not necessarily refer to saying &#8220;thank you&#8221; but rather first acknowledging someone&#8217;s contribution to us through action, honor, and reverence. Deuteronomy 8:17-18 teaches us that a person who is grateful will always be provided for.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4498 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/75-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In conclusion, provision is rooted in the notion of one&#8217;s positioning within the Kingdom of God. The significant role of one&#8217;s stance in relation to God&#8217;s Will provides the foundation for the blessings and divine abundance we have in Christ. By considering the above-mentioned keys, we can seek not only fulfillment for ourselves in God but also a deeper understanding of our relationship with God. Remember, provision is not solely an outcome of one&#8217;s actions but a product of being in alignment with God&#8217;s Will. Therefore be positioned for provision.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Preacher: Pastor Elie Hamuli</strong></p>

<p>There is a significant movement of God in the last days known as the Benjamin generation. This generation becomes relevant during a global salvation crisis, similar to the story in Genesis 43. Benjamin, whose name means &#8220;son of my right hand,&#8221; was the youngest son, and the Benjamin generation includes the last generation of Christians before the rapture. (1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18 and 1 Corinthians 15: 50-54).</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4485 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/6-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Understanding the mandate of the Benjamin generation requires looking at the relationship between Jesus Christ, Joseph, and Benjamin. Drawing parallels between Joseph and Christ reveals their shared experiences of rejection by their own families. Both Joseph and Christ eventually became the bread of life for those who rejected them &#8211; in Egypt and on the cross, respectively (see John 6: 35-36 and Genesis 43:31).</p>
</div></div>

<p>Joseph and Benjamin, being the last two sons of Jacob and sharing Rachel as their mother, represented the final generation among Jacob&#8217;s twelve sons. Analyzing Joseph&#8217;s interactions with Benjamin in Genesis 43 sheds light on how Jesus intends the Benjamin generation to operate during the last days, particularly in times of crisis.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4486 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/7-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Genesis 43 shows that without Benjamin&#8217;s presence in Joseph&#8217;s dealings with his brothers, the crisis escalates, favor is lost, and the consequences become more severe. This situation is linked to the concept of grace, symbolized by the number 5 in the Bible. Several clues in the Bible points to an account of Grace as symbolized by the number 5 in the stories of Noah, Ruth and King David (see Genesis 43: 34, Genesis 5: 28-32, Ruth 2: 10).<br>Just as Benjamin received five times more, God intends to use the fivefold of grace to address the moral and spiritual decline in the world.</p>
</div></div>

<p>As members of the Benjamin generation, both young and old, understanding our identity and purpose in these times is crucial. We are tasked with bringing light to a world in darkness and playing a critical role in helping those called according to God&#8217;s purpose overcome the crisis.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4487 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/8-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Similar to how Benjamin received five changes of clothes from Joseph, Jesus Christ has clothed this generation with an overarching anointing that guarantees prosperity through His presence. As we learn from Joseph’s story, prosperity is not defined by our physical condition, nor is wealth determined by what we claim ours, but it is partnership with God that gives good success to the Benjamin generation, whether in ministry or in the various domains of life; testifying to the unbeliever of the assurance of God’s absolute involvement in the lives of those who choose to serve Him in these last days.</p>
</div></div>

<p>Seeking God&#8217;s kingdom first is essential for members of the Benjamin generation. Anyone can seek at their convenience (when it works for them), but we are called to seek first the kingdom of God, as this is a posture rather than a mere practice (read Matthew 6: 33).</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">Reading Psalms 103:5, we understand that what characterizes the Benjamin generation’s youth, it is the fact that God renews it. Young and old are therefore qualified to serve God and He is willing to use us to share the Gospel. Our relationship with Jesus Christ is far more valuable than anything the world offers.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">The story of the Samaritan woman at the well teaches us that during difficult times, people tend to divert their attention from reality by engaging in a variety of activities that are disguised as leisure.</p>
</div></div>

<p><br>However members of the Benjamin generation, driven by love and compassion, respond to people&#8217;s needs with the same grace and compassion that Jesus showed to sinners. They understand the world&#8217;s attempts to find satisfaction outside of Christ and extend His salvation to those in need.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4489 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/10-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In summary, the Benjamin generation is marked by love, compassion, and a deep commitment to serving God&#8217;s Kingdom. They live in the finished work of Christ, extending grace and salvation to a fallen world. It&#8217;s an invitation to claim your place in this generation and be part of a powerful movement of God.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">Receiving Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior means actively being out and about for the Kingdom of God. This involves a genuine passion for and involvement in the salvation of others. A born-again Christian willingly participates in various ministry activities, such as sharing the Gospel, caring for the sick, engaging in youth events, evangelistic campaigns, or contributing tithes and offerings. </p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>When we ultimately receive Christ, His position in our life is often challenged by people or things in a way that clashes with His perfect will for us. However, when we encounter challenges to our faith or commitment to Christ, we must know how to overcome them as we serve Him.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4476 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/2-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Contrary to popular belief, it&#8217;s often the things we hold dear that can challenge our surrender to Jesus Christ. For example, our wealth, as mentioned in Matthew 19:20-21, or our family and close relationships, as highlighted in Exodus 32:29, may stand between us and our growth in Christ. Other potential challenges may include our personal goals and desires. </p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Until we recognize that Jesus Christ&#8217;s authority and His voice must have precedence over any other voices we&#8217;ve followed throughout our lives, it will be challenging to fully embrace our salvation journey of serving Him.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4477 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/3-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Being out and about for Christ also includes contributing to the Kingdom of God through service and worship. God, as our loving Father, not only provides for our daily needs but also grants us wisdom. He uses times of prosperity to prepare us for times of need, as seen in Genesis 41:28-36. Giving can be challenging because it may seem like God always asks us to give during inconvenient times. However, when God calls us to give, He generously blesses us in return.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Luke 16:9 illustrates the mindset Jesus wants His followers to adopt: using our resources selflessly to win souls for the Kingdom of God. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4478 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/4-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">This not only garners favor among people on Earth but also accumulates treasures of eternal value in God&#8217;s Kingdom. Being out and about also means treating people well, even when we don&#8217;t immediately benefit from them. We may wonder, &#8220;Out and about but where?&#8221; Our natural inclination is to move away from crisis situations, but wisdom in crisis involves listening to where God wants us to be. </p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>When God instructs us to stay in a crisis, He equips us to thrive, often to the point of stirring jealousy in those who sought solutions outside of God. Our plans should be a means to God and not represent an end in themselves (Proverbs 16:9).</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4479 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/5-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In conclusion, being out and about calls us to invest in the Kingdom of God. As the Bible says, &#8220;Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.&#8221; Safeguarding our hearts, as advised in Proverbs 4:23, entails investing our treasures in matters of God. This is the key to being good stewards of the resources in our lives, submitting them to God. Advancing the Kingdom of God is the most significant investment we can ever make.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Preacher: Brother Meschack Mulenda</strong></p>

<p>In this world that is constantly developing in all aspects of life, information is useful, whether good or bad.<br>To the extent that the adage &#8220;knowledge is power&#8221; is accurate. However, it is crucial to know that not all knowledge is beneficial for a Believer&#8217;s growth, specifically in their spiritual progress. There is a lot of information available, but some of it may not be beneficial (one may not be mature enough to absorb that kind of knowledge). In 1 Corinthians 13:11, Paul discusses the significance of the growing process. At any point in your Christian growth process, he emphasizes the idea that it is more important to consider what kind of information you let in than it is to just follow Jesus.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4462 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/66-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">It is not always important to learn everything, as choosing knowledge that is inappropriate for you could have disastrous consequences for you. In essence, it is more important to do what is correct for you than what is either beneficial or detrimental in the period of life you are currently experiencing. In Genesis 3:4, we see that the truth had been used by the devil to deceive Eve. The enemy is so cunning that he is capable of tricking you with the truth. Jesus&#8217; ministry had not begun between the ages of 12 and 30 years old. If the time between these years is estimated, it took Jesus 18 years to develop a ministry that operates in 3 years. This is the core of growth; God always builds things slowly out of patience. </p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Building your foundation on Christ will give you the assurance that nothing is ever going to be destroyed once God establishes it. Jesus foretold that Peter would become a fisher of men from the very first time they met, and after three years of growing, it came to pass. It is clear from reading 1 Corinthians 3:1-4 that God desires for each Believer to experience the process of growth by being discerning about what they allow in. Christians might be classified as either infants or adults. Therefore, it is crucial to understand that a Christian&#8217;s progress is not influenced by the passing of time and is not indicated by how long they have been saved. A Follower who may have just known God for one month may have experienced greater, supernatural spiritual growth than a Christian who has known God for ten years.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4463 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/67-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">An infant Christian is one who has carnal thinking, making decisions based on what is happening in the physical world and basing their emotions on what they feel like doing or what they don&#8217;t. (see Romans 8:4-8). As a Christian, you must only depend on God and what concerns Him; in contrast, this kind of Christian depends on themselves. Reading John 21:18, we can see that growth follows submitting to the Holy Spirit, but if you are also resisting the voice of the Spirit, you may become stagnant. The issue here is not sin, but rather a refusal to develop and a preference for staying in &#8216;comfortable&#8217; environments. </p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Love is the basis of our connection with Christ, therefore, it is unnecessary to fulfill prophecy, move mountains, or perform amazing deeds in the absence of love (see 1 Corinthians 13:1-3; John 3:16).</p>

<p>The subject of how the heart is trained could therefore be raised. The heart requires love, therefore, God&#8217;s mercy extends to everyone, even the wicked. Jesus explained that what comes out of a man is what defiles him (Mark 7:23), and everything you become is active. Consequently, there is a lot of potential in man and until you encounter specific circumstances, you cannot assert that you are a decent person. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4464 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/68-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">God is the only being that is omniscient and omnipotent. He is also the only one who can change people&#8217;s hearts daily (see 2 Corinthians 4:16). Not everyone has the capacity to experience love which is the fruit of the Spirit, according to Galatians 5:22–23, that is only given by the Holy Spirit. Returning to what Paul was discussing in Corinthians, the milk he was referring to is essential. It is a foundation that is based on God&#8217;s love. Thus, you won&#8217;t submit to the Holy Spirit if you lack love. Hence you should not not only be impressed by someone&#8217;s oratory—look at the fruit instead, which is love—to determine whether they truly love God.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Now, the Mature Christian is a Believer to whom we should all aspire to be. This Believer does not only react to sensations or things around them based on faith; they now &#8220;walk by faith and not by sight.&#8221; This time, they are reliant on the Holy Spirit (see Romans 8:13–14). God&#8217;s presence is something you are aware of. Due to the awareness of the presence of the Holy Spirit within you, a Believer with this kind of consciousness refrains from acting in particular ways. </p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">As a seed becomes completely visible after its fruits are produced and so is the fruit of the Spirit. When others start to notice the fruits of the Spirit in you, you are a Christian who is showing these characteristics. When you yield to the Holy Spirit, these fruits will be created in you; in fact, abiding by the Spirit will cause this to happen. According to 1 Corinthians 3:10–14, focusing on verse 12; any edifice created based on wealth, knowledge, or anything else is doomed to failure and only becomes valuable when it is based on Jesus Christ. Your thoughts should be based on a desire to advance God&#8217;s kingdom. Without faith, you have no business looking for earthly goods (see Philippians 4:8; 2 Peter 1:5-8).</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>You can firmly advance in the ways of God by, first and foremost, understanding your place in God. Your current state lets you know what you need for development or what information you need right now. Secondly, your local church is the solution to your spiritual development thus, once you are a part of a community, your development is evaluated. Additionally, you have access to education (schooling) and medical care (hospitals) when you attend a church. Due to your development being tracked, you are subject to accountability. So, seek out a church that will aid in your spiritual development.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Shepherd Elie</strong></p>

<p>In the Bible, three fundamental things are highlighted: faith, hope, and love. Among these, love stands out as the most paramount. The concept of &#8220;staying in&#8221; the presence of God is not just about physical location; it encompasses protection, identity, and being surrounded by His love.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4453 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/62-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In Genesis 2:8, we find the Lord God planting a garden in the eastern part of Eden and placing man, Adam, within it. This garden, the Garden of Eden, symbolizes God&#8217;s presence, and it was the initial dwelling place for man. At this stage, God&#8217;s presence was external; Adam could see God but had not yet fully experienced Him within. </p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>As we progress through Scripture, we come to understand that the final dwelling place for man is in Jesus Christ, in the heavenly places. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4454 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/63-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Here, God&#8217;s presence is invisible but internal. He dwells within us, making us carriers of His divine presence. In Romans 5:19, the apostle Paul discusses how we were initially disqualified through Adam&#8217;s disobedience but became qualified through Jesus&#8217;s obedience in His crucifixion and resurrection.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>Psalms 91:1 speaks of &#8220;dwelling&#8221; in the presence of God, using the Hebrew word &#8220;Yashav,&#8221; which implies sitting, resting, or being calm. When you rest, you demonstrate trust in the one who is in control. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4455 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/64-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Rest signifies that everything necessary has already been provided. When you strive to do everything with your own strength, it reveals a lack of trust in God&#8217;s provision. Instead, position yourself to receive and experience the rest of God as you navigate life&#8217;s challenges. Your position will bring your provision.</p>
</div></div>

<p></p>

<p>The famous Psalm 23 speaks of God setting a table before your enemies—a place to sit and rest. Feeding on God&#8217;s Word while &#8220;Yashav&#8221; in the finished work of Jesus Christ allows you to overcome your adversaries.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4456 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/65-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">The position that God has ordained for you is what leads to provision in your life—sitting down, and resting in Him. In John 6:10-11, before multiplying the bread, Jesus instructed the people to &#8220;sit down.&#8221; Those who received and benefited from the multiplied bread were the ones who obeyed and sat down. God desires you to find rest in Him.</p>
</div></div>

<p>For those who rest in Him, His supply always surpasses their needs. You walk in the completeness of Jesus finished work. Your task is to &#8220;Yashav&#8221; in the secret place of God (Psalms 91:1-2) continually. So, I encourage you to &#8220;Yashav&#8221;—to sit, rest, and abide in His presence forever and ever.</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Brother Meschack Mulenda</strong></p>

<p>Do you recall our revelation-filled camp theme from last year, &#8220;The New Shape&#8221;? It drew inspiration from the beginning of creation when the earth was formless until the Spirit of God&#8217;s presence took shape (Genesis 1:1-3). </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4438 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/55-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">For believers, this signifies the transformation of our minds into the New Shape through the Holy Spirit (Romans 12:2; 2 Corinthians 10:5). God&#8217;s original intention was for us to live in communion with Him and reflect His nature. While humanity initially fell short due to disobedience, Jesus Christ, the second Adam, came to restore God&#8217;s original plan through Salvation (John 5:18; Genesis 1:1-2; John 1:1-4).</p>
</div></div>

<p>Through Salvation, we receive the New Shape, which is, in fact, the Original Shape God intended for us at Creation. In our current age, the world eagerly anticipates the manifestation of God&#8217;s sons and daughters—those who glorify the Father by reflecting His nature in the New Shape brought by Salvation in Christ (Romans 8:19; Matthew 5:14). </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4439 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/56-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">This implies that we deviated from the Original Shape due to Adam&#8217;s disobedience, and now, with Salvation through faith in Christ, we must strive to Stay in that New Shape. Falling out of shape means losing three essential qualities God granted us at creation: dominion over self, connection, and intimacy with the Spirit of God, and dominion over the flesh. Dominion over self was initially granted to humanity. However, Adam&#8217;s disobedience disrupted this submission to God. In contrast, Jesus Christ, the Word of God incarnate, fully submitted to God and received dominion over all things in Heaven and on Earth. Nature itself obeys Christ because of His dominion. </p>
</div></div>

<p>This dominion is only obtained through submission to God; human wisdom alone cannot bring about submission in the visible world.</p>

<p>The loss of intimacy and connection with the Holy Spirit is another consequence of falling out of the New Shape. Our minds remain the battleground for submission to God. Although we are born again through a single confession, the transformation of the mind is a lifelong process. The Holy Spirit plays a crucial role in this transformation, which is why meditating on the Word of God is essential. Faith brings salvation, while the Word of God brings transformation (Romans 12:2).</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4440 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/57-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In our fast-paced world, it&#8217;s essential to develop avenues for constant access to the Word of God. Seeking the kingdom of God means maintaining access to His Word and meditating on it regularly (Joshua 1:8). We have been given everything pertaining to life and godliness in Christ, ensuring we are not overwhelmed by worldly pursuits (2 Peter 1:3). The trajectory of our lives depends on the information we receive, making meditation on the Word of God a matter of life and death.</p>
</div></div>

<p>The Holy Spirit provides discernment regarding God&#8217;s Word, as only His Spirit can truly understand the things of God (1 Corinthians 2:11-12). Human wisdom is insufficient to grasp the Word of God; revelation and transformation come through the Spirit. This is why, despite being saved, a mind not transformed by the Spirit can lead to defeat.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4441 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/58-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In the Old Covenant, believers had a limited understanding of God&#8217;s redemption plan and often misrepresented Him. However, Jesus Christ, in whom the Holy Spirit constantly rested, fully represented God on earth. His interactions demonstrated God&#8217;s character—merciful, forgiving, and loving. The Holy Spirit resting in Jesus magnified the Father&#8217;s glory in the Son.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">The third spiritual asset lost outside the New Shape is dominion over the flesh. Our bodies continually wrestle with our spirits until Christ&#8217;s return. </p>
</div></div>

<p>This struggle often manifests as a desire to serve God while holding onto worldly pursuits, making us unavailable for God&#8217;s work. We must adopt a reward-minded attitude—relying on God&#8217;s reward rather than worldly gain.</p>

<p>So, how do we Stay in the New Shape? By immersing ourselves in the Word of God through meditation, prayer, and service. Meditation transforms and renews our minds. Prayer is vital to our life of meditation, protecting us from the enemy&#8217;s deception. Lastly, our service to God maintains us in His presence and the New Shape, as those who serve are the greatest in the Kingdom of God (Luke 22:26).</p>

<p class="has-medium-font-size"><strong>Pastor Joshua Kiluba</strong></p>

<p>Staying in the presence of God means that we have to enter into it in the first place. The Church is one place where we enter the presence of God. As we will learn in the following texts, Jesus Christ, the only way to the Father, holds the key to the presence of God. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4411 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">The next part will help us shine a light on Jesus Christ and the key to staying in the presence of God. This will also be an opportunity to discover what is in for those who stay in the presence of God (see Psalms 91). The key of David is given to the Faithful Church of Philadelphia by Jesus Christ in His divine authority when He addresses the seven churches in the book of Revelations (Revelations 3:11). The question of “what is the key of David” then emerges. By comparing Matthew 16:19 to Revelation 3:7, 8, and 12, we can see that Jesus Christ not only possesses the key of David but also the keys of the kingdom [of God].</p>
</div></div>

<p>These Scriptures also teach us that anytime the keys are mentioned, they are always in relation to the Temple of God and the City of Jerusalem, and hence the presence of God. It is also vital to comprehend that a key provides access to what may have been present but could not be used until it is “unlocked”. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4412 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/44-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">Now, keep this in mind, for such is the anointing residing in the concept of keys. Whilst 2 Samuel 7 reveals to us that the key of David is King Solomon, whom God ordained to build a Temple in Jerusalem in the Old Testament, we learn that the keys of the Kingdom that Christ gives to Simon Peter &#8211; those pertaining to His Temple like in the Old Testament &#8211; empowers His Church or any “two or three people gathered in His Name” to bind or loosen things on earth with God’s Authority. In the New Testament, the power of the keys of the Kingdom applies both to the Church on earth and the New Jerusalem to come, each representing the Kingdom of God (Revelations 3: 7-13).</p>
</div></div>

<p><br>With the keys of the kingdom, we are empowered to make disciples of all nations, to call upon the Heavenly hosts in the fight against the principalities of this world, and to proclaim the healing of the sick and salvation of the lost.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4413 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/45-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">What then grants such authority in the Keys of the Kingdom of God?<br>The answer resides in Him who holds the keys in both instances: Jesus-Christ. The revelation of the identity of Jesus Christ is the strongest foundation for one to stay in the presence of God. When we decipher the identity of Jesus Christ, we decipher our own identity in Him, and this always brings us to a place of thanksgiving. Whilst many confuse Jesus-Christ with a prophet whether it be John the Baptist, Elijah, Jeremiah, or any other prophet, He still asks you today, &#8220;Who do you say I am?&#8221; in the same manner He asked His disciple Simon Peter (read Matthew 16: 14-16).</p>
</div></div>

<p>According to Jewish theology, Peter&#8217;s statement that &#8220;You are the Christ, Son of the Living&#8221; suggested that Jesus was equal to God because God the Father and the Son have the Same Substance (see John 5:18 and Matthew 16: 18). For this reason, the Jews attempted to kill Jesus in John 5:18. </p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4414 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/46-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">

</div></div>

<p>Today, As followers of Jesus, we abide in the knowledge that He is God, walking in the revelation of that knowledge and abounding in the Grace of it, for “no one knows the Father except the Son. Nor does anyone know the Father except the Son, and the one to whom the Son wills to reveal Him” (Matthew 11:27).</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4416 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/48-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">In conclusion, unpacking the mystery of Jesus Christ reveals that He is equal to God the Father. The revelation of the knowledge of who Christ is allows us to STAY IN the fullness of God! The Church of God received its Authority in heaven and earth through Christ (Matthew 28:18). As we gather in His Name, He has empowered us as His Church through the Keys of His Kingdom. As we sit in His presence, we are of those who dwell in His shelter, He remains our refuge and fortress forever (Psalms 91), Hallelujah!</p>

<p><strong>Sister Yadah Lokota</strong></p>

<p>A life of a Believer is characterised by keeping one’s hands lifted through praise and worship, keeping their knees down through prayer, as well as constantly keeping their Bible and mouth open. However, all that’s been mentioned above is empty and stunted when not centered around and founded upon Jesus Christ. One may have to re-examine themselves to find out whether their studying of Scriptures seeks to find [Jesus Christ], as the Word of God reveals Him. As an alarming call, it is important to find out by which authority you pray: is it by self or by the authority of Jesus Christ? Essentially, a heart that approaches each of these aspects of fellowship without Jesus Christ at the centre is futile, which then results in a life full of unfruitfulness and confusion.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4345 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/13-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">People describe Jesus differently. Some describe Him as a modern prophet who was betrayed. Many describe Him as their Lord and Saviour, others call Him their &#8220;Bestie&#8221;. And, some only use His Name when swearing. But consider this, in a practical manner, one cannot benefit from an official if they do not acknowledge their authority. <em>Who do you say Jesus Christ is to you? </em>The best way to find out about Jesus is to open your Bible and read what He says He is. And If you do not acknowledge the fullness of Jesus Christ, you will never experience Him in His Fullness. When we carefully read John 8:48-59 we begin to build an accurate picture of who Jesus Christ says He is: &#8220;Before Abraham was, I AM.&#8221; Looking into &#8220;I AM&#8221; translated from YHWH: In its original Hebrew pronunciation, it is a Word with no vowels, a sound of inhaling (first breath) and exhalation (last breath).</p>

<p></p>
</div></div>

<p>During Jesus Christ’s time on earth, Jesus said words that were challenging to many. But after saying what He said in John 8:48-59, many people had had enough as they could not have a reconciliation between what Jesus said and what they previously knew about the Saviour to come, so they resolved to stone Him. Simply put, they did not want to acknowledge who Jesus Christ said He was. Furthermore, when we read Exodus 3:13-14, we see that there was only one person who through times introduced Himself as I AM: God [Jesus is GOD]. Therefore, it is essential to stress that the first acknowledgement to give to Jesus, is to acknowledge Him as God, The Great I Am.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4346 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/14-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">To further substantiate this read John 1:1-4, which helps us understand that &#8220;Everything came into being through the Word&#8221; and we exist because of Jesus Christ who is the Word. This helps us understand that at the beginning of our first breath (birth) and our last breath, Jesus will forever remain our source of life (as we read from John 1:1-4). This calls us to never cease giving thanks to God for giving us the breath of life. Even when we do not have much to say, we need to be thankful for the breath He has given us. The reason why God introduced Himself as &#8220;I AM&#8221; is because He wanted to reveal Himself through the entirety of His Son, Jesus Christ.</p>
</div></div>

<p>Let&#8217;s look into how Jesus Christ fulfilled that and who He says He is: The [ONLY] way to God is through God [Jesus] Himself. Jesus is not only the way to the Father, but He is our [ONLY] way here on earth (read John 14:6-7). Jesus Christ is our High Priest: in times before Christ, people had to sacrifice animals for the atonement of their sins without building on their relationship with God.</p>

<div class="wp-block-media-text is-stacked-on-mobile"><figure class="wp-block-media-text__media"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1080" height="1080" src="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3.png" alt="" class="wp-image-4347 size-full" srcset="https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3.png 1080w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-744x744.png 744w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-420x420.png 420w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-768x768.png 768w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-585x585.png 585w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-300x300.png 300w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-600x600.png 600w, https://www.braamfamily.co.za/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/God-will-not-remain-a-mystery-for-you-if-you-choose-to-keep-your-Bible-opened.-3-100x100.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></figure><div class="wp-block-media-text__content">
<p class="has-text-align-left">But for us, today through Christ, we are in communion with the Father, what a privilege for which we have to thank God daily. Jesus introduces Himself as “the Good Shepherd” (see John 10:11-18) and here are some qualities of a good Shepherd. Firstly, the good Shepherd leads His flock wherever He goes. We are the sheep as the Bible describes, whilst Jesus Christ is the good Shepherd. And in His function, He always ensures that He accompanies and leads us in every circumstance that He puts us in. And it is true that without the good Shepherd, our fate is to stray from His purpose, and it reverts us to the reality that we constantly in need of the good Shepherd to lead us in this life.</p>
</div></div>

<p>Secondly, the good Shepherd protects His sheep from predators. Often the sheep can’t see the dangers ahead, we are not able to tell apart who the predators are. Yet, the Good Shepherd knows His Sheep very well and protects them from predators by standing in our place and hitting the danger head-on. Whether the threat involves dangerous situations or people scheming against us without our knowledge. Thirdly, the Good Shepherd shears His sheep. This is generally done to prepare the sheep for the environment that they will be in. Jesus-Christ shapes and moulds His sheepfold for the greater purpose through His Word, both physically and spiritually. This goes to say that we are always equipped to face any situation that God leads us into because He would have prepared and moulded us for it, in His function of a good Shepherd. Lastly, the good Shepherd provides for His Sheep.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-left">For that to happen, one has to be in the sheepfold and STAY in it. This entails following the good Shepherd, abiding in Him, in His Word, and His instructions. And when we are knowledgeable of His provision, we can claim it by turning to His Word, in His faithfulness and riches He will always supply for His Sheep. Jesus further introduces Himself as being the Vine (see John 15:1-5). In God simply existing, He had given believers or unbelievers, everything they&#8217;d need to live in this life (intelligence, health, gifts, skills) however the further one stays away from God, the less these are sustained by the Source (Jesus-Christ) and eventually dying out (see Psalms 127: 1). But for those who abide in Christ, the true Vine, together with what they build, bring forth fruits both in this life, in the Spiritual life as well as in the Life to come (i.e. Eternal Life).</p>

<p>This applies and extends to our work life. From this, we can learn that the key is not to hold on to the fruits or even the branch! The most important thing is to abide in the true Vine. As a branch, we get our fruit only from remaining attached to the Vine. Everything the branch needs; everything we NEED, God provides. Jesus is the Author and Finisher of our Faith. Whenever we engage in a God-inspired activity and face challenges that weigh much on us that we do not want to continue, we have to quickly remind ourselves that It is JESUS’ FAITH that carries us through and not our faith.</p>

<p>In conclusion, when we face suffering and trials, when it seems like we have lost all excitement about this life and its purpose because of the pain we constantly endure, here is what Jesus proclaims “…I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.” (John 10:10). Here is a truth we can hold onto; in Jesus Christ we are to enjoy life and that in its abundance. Thus, we should constantly keep our eyes focused on Jesus Christ!</p>
